Bell and Howell B1 Speaker and Cabinet
Circa 1952 Bell and Howell USA B1 contains one of the most highly sought after (by guitarists) Jensen speaker. It is a complete cabinet with all of the inside flocked with a groovy purple felt. The speaker was made by Jensen and has a bell that covers it’s huge alnico magnet. The numbers printed on the speaker frame is 220117, which means (according to our sources) it was made by Jensen of Chicago on the 17th week of 1952. Label attached to the bell reads: Bell and Howell CO., New York – Hollywood – London – Chicago, Part# 16863, Impedance: 16 Ohms, Max. Input Watts 25W, B&H Made in USA. This is definitely a high quality piece of professional USA audio equipment from the good old times when quality came first. The speaker was plugged in for a few seconds and the speakers plays, no further testing was performed. This Bell and Howell piece is used, sold as a collectible and sold as is. Price 198.45
